I loved my pregnant body. I—initially, I was scared that I was going to gain a lot of weight. And I was a little worried about controlling what I ate and everything, but I ended up not controlling what I ate. I just ate whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted and surprisingly I did not gain a lot of weight. I gained 20 pounds and I just had a great little baby bump and I loved it.
I felt that I was huge. About my body, I felt that I was gaining weight everywhere. I felt awful.
And I didn’t have too many body issues. With my first, I broke out a lot, so my face was—I felt like I was a teenager again. But for the most part, I didn’t really have very many body image issues. I loved being pregnant.
Honestly, I felt my pregnant body looked great with a larger chest. For the first time ever.
So, when I was pregnant, I wasn’t really think much about my body. I was more concerned about making sure I eat healthy for the baby. It was just more of changing my diet into something that’s more healthy.
I loved the way my body looked. I felt fantastic. I loved my belly. I actually missed being pregnant after the baby came.
I really liked my pregnant body. I think it’s amazing what the—what our bodies go through and what we’re able to do as women. I mean wow. What a gift.
I was really concerned about the weight gain, but even though I gained so much weight on top of being overweight, I was—I felt beautiful.
