Postpartum Support International (PSI) is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise universal awareness of mood and anxiety disorders surrounding pregnancy and childbirth. Dedicated to helping pregnant and postpartum parents who are experiencing postpartum depression and other difficulties, PSI provides them and other family members with information and referral services.
PSI offers a wide variety of information on its website, including a list of people who can provide online or local support to moms or dads dealing with postpartum stress, depression, anxiety, a miscarriage, or the loss of a baby. They can also refer you to a support group in your area.
PSI also has weekly online video support groups in English or Spanish, Chat with an Expert for moms and dads, and a closed Facebook support group. All services are provided at no cost to families.
Membership is $70 ($30 for students and $160 for professionals) and includes a subscription to the quarterly newsletters, PSI News, discounts on products and trainings, and access to the members-only section of the site.
